WILLIAM PRICE (1823 to after 1900)

William Price's parents, James and Sarah (Duer) Price, were from New J ersey, but he and his siblings were born in Hubbard, Ohio, just nort h of Coitsville. After his marraige to Matilda McFarland in 1847, the y are found together in 1850 Coitsvil le, with their one year old daugh ter, Betsy E Price. At this time William was a blacksmith. Later, in 1 857, they have one more child, Mary M Price.
From 1860 to 1880, he is listed as a farmer, but by 1900 he is a widow er, in retirement , living with his daughter Mary M Creed and her husb and Henry. William Price does not appear in any census after 1900, an d has probably died.

William married Matilda Elizabeth McFarland about 1846 in Coitsville, Mahoning, Ohio, USA. Matilda (daughter of William McFarland and Elizabeth Loveland) was born on 18 Dec 1825 in Coitsville, Trumbull (later Mahoning), Ohio, USA; died on 16 Dec 1890 in Coitsville, Mahoning, Ohio, USA.
