• Notes

  In 1901 census was with his aunt Annabella Lamb in Ladybank, Fife and is listed as a Scholar (age 11) born in England. 2 - The Willises emigrated to Canada. Sometime around 1990 James died without issue, aged 100 years and a firm of professional researchers was employed to find any living first cousins, to whom he had willed his estate. About 2.5 million Canadian dollars were belived to be involved. The eventual outcome of this search is unknown, but it is belived that the housekeeper contested the will and won, some if not all the inheritance due to the years of serice she had given looking after him and nursing him in his old age.
