• Notes

  I have very little information on Robert Lorimer Macfarlane's marriage. My mother says she thinks he was married to someone known as Mary but not too sure. Robert and Mary? had a daughter, Marion Thomas Macfarlane (my grandmother) DOB 05/03/1900 Govan (died 20/01/1965 in Sydney Australia) and a son, Allan (no other details of DOB or place of birth, or further lineage). Marion married my grandfather, David Easson in Glasgow (no date), DOB 05/04/1886 Glasgow,(died 06/05/1974 in Sydney Australia). David was previously married in Chester to a Mabel Penny, I have further info on their children if you are interested. Marion & David may have come to Australia I believe on a ship called the OTRANTO but have not been able to confirm that. (Maybe there is a ship manefesto somewhere out there).
