  1 - Alexander (son of Donald), came to America in 1854, and died in Huntingdon, Province of Quebec, Canada. [ Mrs C. M. Little's History p222 ] 2 - I have listed an Alexander McFarlane, born Sept 3, 1783, died March 23, 1869. He is listed as the first of 15 children of Donald MacFarlane and Mary McNee. Alexander came to America in 1854 died in Huntingdon, Province of Quebec, Canada. A not e that states the story has been told throughout the family that Alexander became upset with part of his family and took the "a" out of McFarlane.
