      2 - John McFarlane, born July 22, 1785, was born in Ireland, not Scotland. His wife Ann McCollough was born in Ireland also. John was Roman Catholic, and buried in the Old Roman Catholic graveyard in Charlotte County, New Brunswick. His wife and children were Presbyterian and members of the Church of Scotland. They are buried in Sandy Point Cemetery in Charlotte Co.
