• Notes

  McVurich - in Gaelic Mac Mhuirich but in Argyll it seems to have been abandoned in favour the more English sounding Curry or Currie or, apparently in some instances, Morrison. McVorish is a similar name claimed by MacGilrays of Argyll. Alt Birth: Abt 1746 Of, Glenorchy And Inishail, Argyll, Scotland All IGI entries are submissions which give no parents.
