I received a photo of it and the one next door to it, and they prove that in actual fact "our" Archibald (ID I8421) is the son of Duncan MacFarlane ID I43124. So Duncan I43124 had as eldest child our Archibald I8421. So the parents of I8421 are Duncan and Christina Johnstone. So Duncan I43124 had as eldest child our Archibald I8421. So the parents of I8421 need to be changed (to Duncan and Christina Johnstone). The Archibald McFarlane that should be attached as a son of Malcolm MacFarlane I8419 is in fact Archibald I22892 (we have verification of this birth). 9 Ancestry.com trees Jul 2021.
