  My Alexander McFarlane was born in Ormsaigmor Ardnamurchan Argyll Scotland in 1860 I am first generation Canadian via my father. He had relatives who came over earlier than he but for the most part we are still in scotland in my line. [Facebook post in Clan MacFarlane open group by Miriam MacFarlane July 5 at 12:12pm] My Alexander McFarlane was born 24 aug 1860 at Ormsaigmor Ardnamurchan Argyll and died 6 aug 1943 and was a farm servant. he was married to Jane Stewar Morrison b. 12 Jul 1863 and died 22 September 1943.
