Albert also worked for the Railroad at Esterville,Iowa. Albert and his family moved to Montana in May of 1913, joining his father and brothers who had homesteaded on the North Fork of Burns Creek. Albert settled on the South Fork of Burns Creek where they farmed until the fall of 1935. They then purcha sed a small irrigated tract of land just west of Savage where they lived until their death.
