Charles Selby Lenox MacFarlane, R.E., B.Sc., who was born on 2 July 1875 in Ireland, and died on 25 July 1960 in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, Eire. He was an electrical engineer who received his degree from the University of Glasgow i n 1900 and was the first President of the London Chapter of the Clan MacFarlane Society in 1911. Capt. Charles married (13 December 1902, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland) Isobel Youell and had a son" from 'The barons of Arrochar and their cadets' a manuscript by Chevalier Terrence Gach MacFarlane; chapt. 6 24c 3 - Selby Lenox is in the British Civil Service and was the first President of the London Section of the Society of the Clan Macfarlane.
