Notes - (Research):He landed with his family at Quebec City on 26/06/1898 in the S.S. Californian. He served as a Private in the Canadian Army in World War One as a Driver of a mule-train carrying artillery shells in the 62nd Battalion 1915-1919. He transferred to t he 54th Battalion 3rd Division Artillery. He served as a Driver in the 3rd CDAC 1915-1919. He married Doris Gwendoline Flint 10/07/1921. He was a Master Mariner 30/05/1928 & was the Master of the tugs MCM, JWP, Daring, Solander and Nitinat Ch ief.
