  Mary Helen Haines notes: 1830 census they are in Marion MO where he purchased land from the state. 1840 census they are in Lewis MO where he also had purchased land from the state. In that census, the wife is 30-39 years old and there is one boy under 5 and one 5 to 10. In 1850 the two boys, Walter Easton and Harvey P. are living with relatives.
