From looking at your GEDCOM file, I recognize that we are indeed relatives. My father was John Clark McFarlane, who was the son of James McFarlane and brother to Arthur McFarlane who I see is your grandfather. I am one of five children by his second wife: Gladys Openshaw. Dad died in 1953 when I was 17 and mother died at 93 in the year 2000. A year ago at my brother's (Gary) funeral a relative I hadn't seen for 55 years introduced himself as Verl Harold McFarlane, son of Harold McFarlane who was a son of my father and his first wife (Alice Liddle). It was a good reunion and subsequen t visits allowed us to catch up on what has happened over the many years of not knowing each other and not knowing how to find each other. I live in Oregon and am interested in connecting with as many family members as I can find. I have good memories of your grandfather. I am attaching a photo which I got after the death of my mother.
