• Notes

  Peter's wife's last name is actually Jane Byrns, this took some work as records go back and forth in this family with Burke and Byrns, but it is Byrns. I have her father (Edward Byrns) obit which includes Mrs Peter McFarlane as his daughter. I als o have quite a few census that have their last name as Byrns. Jane died in 1942, all I have for proof of this is her grave stone with Peter's stone http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=67373346&ref=acom I have US city records for her living at her house in Buffalo until 1941.
