  Neville Saunders (Florence Gertrude Mcfarlane's first husband) was born on 7 November 1911 and died in 1982. His mother was Hannah Patterson and his father was Lionel Saunders. Two of Lionel's siblings names were Adel and Douglas. They originally lived in Kimberley South Africa where Hannah Patterson was a matron in the local hospital. Lionel and maybe also his father was involved in the mine in Kimberley (E.R.P.M Mine.) The Saunders family also immigrated from Scotland.
