  One more new member. This one is pretty interesting. His furthest back ancestor was named Eli Palmer up until sometime after his marriage in 1852. Maybe Eli's mother Darcus (Dorcas?) was a McFarland. Anyway, all the kids adopted the McFarland nam e by the 1860s. I have asked about Eddie taking a Y-DNA and an autosomal test.
