Notes - In 1910 census William, Mable, Gilbert and Joseph were living in Etna, Ward 3, Allegheny Co. PA and William was working as a Bartender at a Hotel.
In 1920 census William J Miller Sr. is 40 with Mable 36, son Gilbert 16, Joseph 14 and Willliam J. 3 yrs and 7 months. They are in Pittsburg, Allegheny Co. PA.
In 1930 census William J. Miller, 50, born PA, is a steam fitter in pipe engineering, living in Aspinwall, Allegheny, PA with wife Mabel C. 47, and son William J. Jr. 14, PA, and mother-in-law Annie R. Gilbert, 74, PA.
In 1940 census: William and Mabel are still in Aspinwall, living with John Gilbert, age 60, who I assume is her brother.
William has a Spanish Civil War pension application made while he as living in Aspinwall, at 107 Western Ave. and it lists his parents names, as well as his wife.
