My gggrandfather, George McFarlane/MacFarlane, was a Loyalist with the 42nd Regiment
(Black Watch) of the British Army during the American Revolution. After the War,
in 1783-84, he emigrated to New Brunswick where he married and had a family. My
grandfather, Henry George MacFarlane, was born there on 27 Dec 1857. I am looking
for any information on George's arrival in the Thirteen Colonies and his birthplace in
