McFarlin, Thomas, Davidson Co., 1787, 320 acres, N dist, bk H-8, p. 10-11, g#17, Warrant #504 Court paper for Jan 15, 1796, discuss the chattel estate of Tho. McFarland, deceased delivered by james Todd and Jno Mcfarlin. p. 114 in book ? It is likely that Thomas is not the brother of John Porter McFarland. MHH notes: supposedly came to Charleston, SC about 1765 to find his brother John Porter McF.
