  William McFarlane born Feb 28, 1843 married Margaret Chapin of Dundee, Scotland. They had a son James Alexander Macfarlane, born Sep 5, 1886 in Toronto, my grandfather. They also had Sydney, Gordon, Eva, and Minnie. William died Jan 8, 1912 in Toronto.
