  Mary Helen Haines notes: From information written by descendants of Richard Clay McFarland, Caroline Law was the 1/2 sister of Mary Walker. Different father, but same mother. Caroline probably moved in to help her half-sister, and then became the mother to Richard Crabtree's children.
