      STORY: According to daughter, Fannie (who relayed information on to granddaughter, Millie Deal Doss, who lived with Fannie until her death, Matilda's mother was a full blood Indian.

      [NOTE: (2001) Family has now been assigned to Wright and Walker, and there is no evidence of Native American Heritage].
