  MHH notes: There are conflicting birth and death dates: Dec. 21, 1767, or Dec. 2, 1767. Death: March 26, 1859 or Sept. 26, 1859. This is probably due to trying to read the original on a tombstone. I have not seen any Bible records for this family. Benjamin and Ruth must have stayed living in TN when the rest of his family....father and siblings....moved to North Carolina abt. 1799. It is said that he moved to Kentucky in 1803. The part of Kentucky they settled was called Adair County until 1825 when Russell County was formed from part of Adair and other counties.
