And according to the World Family Tree, Joseph McFarland (McFarlane) is the son of Robert Henry McFarland, the son of Alexander McFarland, from the Duncan McFarland line. notes say that this Rebecca moved to Alabama and married a Hardwick. Mary Helen Haines notes. At last, a connection between these two families. Now I can merge the two Gedcoms while I look for the other connections. 2009 In the 1830 census in Jackson County Alabama, on image 67, living next to one another is Joseph McFarlane, Meredith Price, James g. Hardwick. 1850 census: Arkansas, Benton Co., Osage twn. fam. 446, Rebecca Hardwick 30 TN, living, with children: Washington, 12, Chas.
