James McFarlin, 30, born Crawford Co.; Elizabeth 25, born Crawford Co., William 9, Robert 7, David 4, Hiram 2, all born Crawford Co. From the 1900 census in Vineyard, Washington Co. Arkansas: states his birthdate as being in May, 1818. In the obituary published in the Crawford Co. Democrat back in Indiana, it says he died in Arkansas on the 15th of Dec. 1903. Older notes: SPOUSE: Elizabeth. NOTE: Preacher and Cooper in Indiana. LINKS: This James McFarland may well be the same James H. McFarland who married Cecila Mitchell and moved to Indiana.
