  In the 1930 census, Elizabeth McFarland, age 70, is living still in East St. Louis, she is living at the school where she is a janitress, and according to the 1920 census, that is the Douglas school. It lists her parents as being, father from Northern Ireland, and mother from the Irish Free State.
