• Notes

  1 - My husband's g-g-grandfather Alexander McFarlane had a sister Janet born about 1808 in Scotland (we think in Kilbarchan, Renfrew). Their father was Alexander McFarlane married to Anne McCulloch. They emigrated to Scotland in 1815 to Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, we haven't discovered who or when Janet married or for that matter, if she married. She seems to have disappeared from the records that we have been able to find.
