  This Sophia is connected to John McFarland, James' brother. She and Thomas B. Terry are listed in a deed record dated Dec. 7, 1872 where they revoke any claim to his land. p. 489 Deed Book 4. I have backtracked and found the connections. This Sophia Ann is the great-granddaughter of John McFarland. She appears on the 1850 census as the infant child of B.L. and S.A.
