Notes - 18th Chief (1791-c1820): William, succeeded his grandfather, Dr. William, who had been the last landed laird. Arms, themselves, such as the Arms of MacFarlane of that Ilk & Arrochar are noble fiefs and so the barony of Arrochar continued despite the loss of the lands.
