  Dr. Godfrey Spruill, born abt. 1650 in Scotland, migrated to the Carolinas, is discussed in the manuscript "Eight Centuries of the Spreull and Sproule Families" by James Richard Sproule, Sept. 2012, that was shared by Mr. Sproule in PDF format to Clan MacFarlane Worldwide.
