• Notes

  1900 Census (Series T623, Roll 672, P 300) shows him as living in same household as his sisters Harriet and "Eliza". Therefore, it is presumed that none were married at the time. 1910 Census (Series T624, Roll 610, P 228) shows William, "Eliza" and Ella living in same household. Moreover, "Eliza" is listed as half-sister, making her the daughter of Jane, not Susan.
