• Notes

  There is some confusion about John Parlin, born 1782. It does seem that he was married twice. His first marriage to Anna Nutting, June 26, 1804/5 in Somerset Co. Maine. She must have died and he married a cousin, Sybil Parlin who appears to be the mother of his children. She is the wife who appears in the census records in 1850 and 1860 living in Anson, Somerset Co.
