    2 - Robert McFarlane (wife Elizabeth Beard) is my 3rd great grandfather. Robert and Elizabeth were married in 1826 in Ireland. I have the name of his father, Thomas McFarlane, and his mother Esther (nee Graham) and I am assuming they lived in Done gal as that is here their son Thomas was born in 1832. They all must emigrated to Australia sometime between 1826 and 1845 when Elizabeth died here in Australia.
    It would be interesting to find who went off to US from Ireland and when.

    3 - Our family emigrated from Donegal Ireland to Australia in 1837. Robert McFarlane 1802-1884 his wife Elizabeth Beard with three children Thomas MacFarlane McFarland 1832-1885, Margaret Ann McFarlane 1833-1892, James MacFarlane 1836-?.
    On Robert MacFarlane death certificate his parents are listed as
    Thomas MacFarlane and Ester Elizabeth Graham.
