He fell off the face of the earth (after his wife, my great grandmother died in childbirth delivering my grandfather) a nd his life has been an unsolved mystery for 94 years. I have been focusing on tracking this information down for three years, and I finally solved it.

    My name is Rich McFarlane and I am a member of Clan MacFarlane Worldwide. Last year I sent you some genealogy information for the website, and since sending you this, I have discovered the death details of my great-grandfather. John Denver McFar lane died 13 August 1943 in Seattle, Washington.

    This is a simple fact for the website, but an absolutely HUGE find for me. He fell off the face of the earth (after his wife, my great grandmother died in childbirth delivering my grandfather) and his life has been an unsolved mystery for 94 year s. I have been focusing on tracking this information down for three years, and I finally solved it (pats self on the back). For our family, this is the equivalent of finding and positively identifying the remains of Richard III.
