    Dear Andrew,

Five days ago I found a FF between the Heiress of Line and the late Raymond M'F (brother of our co-admin Barbara Duff). I wrote to her (with a copy to James Black because he is our admin team's best FF expert):

"Below you will find a FF match page for your late brother. I am only sharing this with you and Jim Black who is the best FF member of our admin team. Your brother matches the woman who is the current Heiress of Line to the chiefship of clan Macfarlane. Please do not discuss this with anyone else until the three of us can work out exactly how you are related to the Heiress.

Only two other people in the world know the Heiress's name and for the moment I want to leave it that way. Her FF kit is in the name of her eldest married daughter, Lorraine Fisher. It took me years to convince her to take the FF and her results did not post until this summer when I had my hands full in Scotland with my wife being ill for six weeks."

Andrew, as you are one of the people who does know the heiress's name I am writing to you so that you can see the attached tree I have pulled together of her ancestry. I have asked her and her daughter to help fill in the gaps but they do not seem to be able to do so -- can you?

I have cut the tree off in the 1600s because it is my best guess that is where we will find the connection between these two. Jim is working with this tree to see if he can match the chromosomes to the people shown in it.

    Thanks,

    Terrance
